When I started this role with IAAPA, it was clear what my big question was: “What is your vision for IAAPA EMEA? What will change?” Sure, I will do things my way, and we will keep evolving, but I am just the leader of an amazing team. And that team hasn’t changed. They are the motor of IAAPA EMEA, and I am proud to work with them. So for once, I will share what will not change: The sales team of Andrea Kolar, Annadora Buonocore, and Iuliana Fornea will keep working hard to fill the IAAPA Expo Europe show floor with amazing exhibitors and support them where they can. Of course, this will be done in cooperation with Janet Doyle, our director of trade show operations, who is preparing this complex event. Tom van Liefferinge, our manager of education, identifies interesting topics for our conference during the Expo and other upcoming events, while finding the best speakers inside and outside our industry. Nico Reynders and Ignace Woinin will continue providing excellent service to our members and pushing us to do as much as we can for them. Pascal Pycke and Claire Denton run our complete back office, from finance and human resources to meetings and everything in between. Angi Puigferrat and Ewa Kwolek-Mazur, our marketing and communications wizards, make sure members have all the information they need and discover creative ways to share our announcements and knowledge. Manjana Roth is our flexible “wherever we need her” star. We officially call this “Special Projects,” but it means so much more. She is the oil in our machine, stepping in wherever she’s needed. And last, but surely not least: Katia Malnati, our manager of meetings and events, runs regional programs like IAAPA EMEA Spring Summit, all off-site events during IAAPA Expo Europe, and more. She delivers perfection in details and a gigantic overview. There is one person left, but unfortunately, this is something that will change after the Expo; João Camurri Fiães is our intern from Breda University of Applied Sciences and does an amazing job supporting Katia with events. Needless to say, I am very proud of this team—a bunch of loving people with a pas- sion for their work and our industry, and I think they deserve a spotlight, too. I am look- ing forward to meeting you all in London, but I am even more thrilled for you to meet this wonderful team and to see, enjoy, and experience the efforts of their work. Cheers to change but keeping the best!
